Miranda II was built in 1937 by the Costaguta Shipyard in Italy, a yard renowned for building some of the finest racing yachts. During this time it posted a string of results, including a European European Championship. Designed by Lutra, made by v1 Composites in Abu Dhabi in 2006 this 30ft racing yacht was part of the +39 Americas Cup Team and was based at their training camp in Valencia. Since then it has been part of an elite racing school in Portugal and then brought back to the UK in 2019 to race in the HP30 Class. This Viper 640 has been owned by the current owner since new and he has regularly raced her mainly in fresh water. The boat is compliant with the Viper 640 Class Association Class Racing Rules.
