The keel strut locates into the recess in the bottom of the hull. The spade rudder is a carbon fibre foam sandwich construction. The stock is carbon fibre and provides the structural strength.
"C-Spars" Carbon Mast with rod rigging Keel stepped with two sets of spreaders swept aft, a wide shroud base with a non overlapping configuration. Harken Carbon racing twin groove headstay foil. The design is a simple one with no running backstays or check stays. The deep section boom is made of lightweight carbon. The height of the mast and tension of the shrouds is readily adjustable by means of an internal hydraulic jack and chocks. Carbon Spi-pole.

"Blue Belle" has been laid up for the last ten years due to other commitments. She is a fun and exciting boat to sail and is competitive in all conditions.
Even though this boat has been laid up for a number of years she is in surprisingly good condition.
The engine is a Yanmar 18hp. The owner suspects that it will require a rebuild or replacement. It is shaft driven with a two blade folding propeller.
