Hull had 3 layers of paint, including primer and non slip Premier pain on deck. The luminous side paint has faded and requires re-application to new owners choice of colour. No anti-foul paint was used on the Atlantic trip.
Keel is made as per instructions with steel and lead bulb and coated with 3 layers of epoxy paint. Full documentation on keel welding included.
All plans and documentation for materials and keel building for hull number 57 will be provided with sale.
It took me 1800 hours to build this vessel and it's priced well below the building cost for a quick sale. To get her fully ready for a long voyage, the following work should be done. Service the two Lewmar winches, repaint and antifoul below the water line, re-epoxy the keel.
I installed buoyancy in all available compartments, so I would expect her to be fully buoyant.
The complete interior has been coated in West epoxy and not painted. I did this to ensure that if ever there was a leak, it would be immediately visible on the plywood and not masked by paint.
The keel has been removed to facilitate easy transportation.
