Built by Camper and Nicholson, she is hull number sixteen of a total of twenty five built. Very strongly built, three of the class were entered into the 1979 Fastnet race and all three survived unscathed despite being knocked down. Poppy is deceptively spacious with over 6'06" headroom on the centreline in the saloon and generally over 6' in the remainder of the saloon. She has a large double quarter berth, a forward vee berth cabin plus extra berths in the saloon. Originally fitted with two pilot berths, the starboard berth has now been rebuilt with lockers.
