This lovely, well maintained, Excalibur 36 is one of the timeless classic long- distance cruisers designed by the renowned E.G. Van de Stadt
Despite being designed primarily as a cruiser, Excaliburs won the RORC Class II Championships in 1963, 1964 and 1965, and they still have a powerful turn of long distance speed, but are extremely comfortabale (Comfort ratio:33.75) with numerous round the world, trans Atlantic / "Blue Water" passages, done with ease. Only 51 Excaliburs 36 were built and they all they are a very capable and strongly built yacht for bluewater or coastal cruising, emhanced by an encapsulated lead ballast keel and a balanced self-supporting rudder.
