The vessel presents itself in new condition throughout with numerous
improvements including helipad, stabilizers, sonar, new chilled water air con throughout, hydraulic platform, diver compressor, new controls.
Kalibobo Spirit has every possible addition to ensure a wonderful sailing experience every time. The galley, bar and lounge are sized to cater for up to 120 people and with accommodation for twenty guests makes her ideal for extended live aboard or day charter.
The helipad is suitable for Jet Ranger & Hughes 500 & R44 helicopters, the aft boarding platform is set up to provide easy transfer of guests to and from the awaiting tenders. Inspection is a must to witness the quality and value of this meticulously maintained ship.
In November 2018 PNG Survey was completed in Cairns.

The vessel sleeps twenty guests in 9 luxurious cabins, the majority of the cabins each contain a queen sized bed with quality mattresses, linen and accessories. Each cabin has its own bathroom consisting of a toilet, shower box and hand basin with extractor fan. All lower cabins are air-conditioned and have a 14” LCD TV. In the cavity under the stairway is a storage area with a pull out unit rollers containing linen and accessories.
The Master Cabin has a queen bed complete with side lamps, lounge chair, desk, CD player, LCD TV and DVD/VCR on swivel mount, cupboards and wardrobes, plus a safe for valuables. The suite has a bathroom with heated towel rails and double doors lead off to the outside and expansive deck space which also has a separate head and basin. The communication room or office is also located on the bridge deck. It has a built in desk with drawers plus chair, safe, PC computer, phone/fax and satellite phone.
Four cabins forward sleep up to 6 crew members.
This magnificent ship was built by Carey’s Boatyard Picton New Zealand in 2004. Constructed of marine plywood diagonal planked on oregon stringers and laminated white pine frames. All keel, stem and backbone is laminated hardwood. All glue is Epoxy. All external surfaces are fibreglass with triaxial and/or biaxial E glass G cloth prior to fairing with Epoxy / Micro balloons. Faired surface is primed with Epoxy high build primer prior to top coating with Paint Co Caprithane and the underwater area is prepared as above and the anti-fouled with 2 coats of Awlcraft antifouling. All construction has been carried out and inspected in accordance with NZ Maritime Safety Authority survey requirements PART 40 A. The vessel is in current Papua New Guinea DOT 2C.

Engines: Dual 653HP Scania DI 14 75 M415 speed 12 knots – cruise 10 knots. As at approximately May 2017 the hour clocks for these engines show approximately 5,500 hours since new.
