Description

Hollandia, a true Classic Colin Archer built Norway 1934. Converted to a yacht in the 60's by Ken Coombs of Antigua Classic Yachting and sailed extensively around the Atlantic. Rebuild from 2000-2009.
Hollandia is a beautiful, gracefull yacht from another time that gives the feeling of a small ship. She is easy to handle by two with a powerful gaff rig, a superbly comfortable cruiser in ready to sail away condition.

Accommodation

Comfy and spacious layout which is light and airy due to the number of hatches throughout. All cabin spaces have their own ventilation.
The galley(port side) is a classic U-shape which works well and provides a safe area for working no matter the conditions. Storage is large, both cupboard and bin storage as well as 4 drawers. The Taylors paraffin cooker is easy to work with. The galley sink is a Belfast sink so cleaning and galley chores are not an issue with solid bronze hand pump supplying FW.

Up forward there is a double bed, and large storage underneath in cupboards and hanging press. Large 500mm Lewmar hatch gives access and ventilation.
Aft cabin is single and very comfy. This space is also the engine/battery area.
Saloon is standard layout with room to relax, entertain etc..2-4 berths depending on what is required.
Full size drop leaf mahagony table seats 4 easily.
Heating from the Refleks diesel heater is super, new regulator and full service 2019.

Construction

Heavily built of Norwegian Furu and European Larch.
4" x 4" solid frames on 12" centres
Fully ceiled with 1 3/4" Western Red Cedar
Gavanised nail and bolt fastening
Full length keelson with galv. channel iron mast step.
Lead keel and internal lead balast, Keel bolts 2009.

SS water tanks, 3, under Saloon seats and in Galley

Deck is 1" laminated ply (resourcinol) with SP systems sheathing and covered with epoxy deck paint/non skid. Fully overcoated in 2023.

Bulkheads are built from 1 3/4" solid Western Red Cedar and Larch.
All hatches are Lewmar Ocean.
Hull was fully scraped and primed 2023 below the water line. No issues were found. Hull is very fair and in excellent condition. Full Survey 2025
Rudder is hung on heavily galvanised pintel/gudgen which have nylon bushes.

All sails are in good condition with the mizzen new 2023. Four working sails and 2 well worn foresails as spares.
All standing and running rig replaced, with eyes and lowers served, 2023.

Blocks, spars, serviced and varnished when main mast and mizzen were removed 2023.
Wiring checked and re-attached.
