Knocknagow is a former River Suir trading barge, probably built c.1900. She became a pleasure boat in the 1990s and has been extensively remodelled since then.
She has exceptionally fine lines and is both fast (as barges go) and manoeuverable. She has been superbly maintained and has a large range of equipment, including a JCB J444 engine installed new in 2009, with only 1000 hours of use, and a very powerful bow-thruster.
She is currently fitted for a couple, with a single large bedroom, saloon, galley, shower and toilet. She offers a choice of seating areas —saloon, wheelhouse, covered rear deck — to cater for different weather and has both a solid fuel stove and an Eberspacher hot air heating system.
