Description

This is a custom ordered Aquastar 38 with a 4 foot hull extension at the transom. It was fitted out by Elephant & Co in Southampton in 1993 with the assistance of Freeman & Partners Naval Architects.

The boat was refitted in 2024.

Fully up-to-date for anti-foul and engine servicing June 2026.

Refit 2024

Internal refit to Avalon carried out by original builders Elephant & Co in 2024.

All head linings/side linings and carpets replaced. Marine ply backings replaced as required. All fabrics/coverings are marine grade.

Windows removed and refitted

All upholstery replaced with new split mattress to main cabin to facilitate access for servicing.

New rudders by original manufacturer fitted 2024.

All fittings to transom removed and resealed, also deck fittings, also area under helm seat replaced with grp and painted.

New access hatch to aft cabin fitted 2024

Dorade upstand to gally replaced 2024

Curtains and cushion covers dry cleaned 2024.

Extensive refit focused on ensuring dry boat.

Crockery stowage sized for Denby crockery. Food and cutlery stowage. Original oil seascape painting by marine artist Ambrose. Chart drawer with selection of paper charts. Fwd sink/toilet/shower with porcelain bowl and fresh water electric flush. Storage presses. Pleated blinds to window. Extract fan reversible.

Lounge/Wheelhouse – Sat TV, lounge seat (sleeps one if required), teak coffee table, Sideboard with fitted drinks and glass holders. Navigation seat (double, retrimmed 2024)) with chest fridge under (ideal for drinks and large items), navigation table, fully adjustable helm seat (retrimmed 2024). Side access door and rear access door. Double glazing with pleated blinds to main windscreen, curtains to main side windows.

Owners cabin aft- Double bed and head board (new 2024) with fitted sheets, duvet and covers. 2x wardrobes, dressing table and ensuite. Two small original oil seascapes by marine artist Ambrose. Curtains to side windows. Matching bed throw and cushions. Two way switched lighting. Ceiling hatch with flyscreen and night blind (2024).
