"Aggro"
Anderson 22 for sale in Sigo, NW Ireland.
Boat is on the hard for the winter and ready for inspection.
One of only two fixed keel versions that were build. Approx 700 lifting keel A22s were built, and there's an active user group.
I've owned Aggro for 3 years and covered 1,500 nm.
Although solid and ready to sail, she needs a complete refit.
I added a 'garage', treated and antifouled the keel, but did very little else.
Running rigging needs some replacing.
Standing rigging - half renewed 2025.
Sails are functional - hank on jibs.
Cabin has a leaky window, but not bad.
We 'camped' below when on longer runs.
Depth guage, GPS, anchor, chain, rode and fenders.
Outboard is long shaft Yamaha 5 two stroke.
Would benefit from the forward hatch that many others have added.
Full disclosure:
1. Mast was repaired with stainless welded plate the week I bought her.
No problem in F7 gusts.
2. I haven't been able to fully inspect the keel/hull joint.
Slight raised line on the hull area around joint, but this hasn't changed since I've owned her.
To conclude: a well designed small sailboat, in poor but functional condition.
Ideal for learning, or for a full restoration if you have time.
Hull looks like the original gel coat (and should polish easily) and no sign of osmosis.
Thanks for looking.
I'll try and answer any questions you might have.
