SUPERSTRUCTURE:
mm salt water resistant marine alluminum bolted tot he steel hul land separated with a strip of nylon to prevent corrosion. Windows in 10 mm triplex glass.
DECK:
steel plywood/teak
a)Steelconstruction of 5 mm with extra reinforcement of 10 and 8 mm plates for main mast and winches.
b)The steelconsytruction is coverd with 12 mm marine plywood. Between the steel and the plywood there is a layer of rubber compound. The plywood is bolted tot he steel with approximately 3.500 bolts.
c)On the plywood a teak deck is laid, dimensions of the ribbs 43 x 25 mm of first class Burma teak. The ribs are attached from the inside with brass screws. The layout of the deck is the classical one, starting with a so-called “fish tail” pattern from the king plank. There is another layer of rubber cmpound between the plywood and the teak all over the deck.

Bilges: all bilges have separate draining pipes, galvanized after welding and connected to a collector in the engineroom. The ilge-pipes are provided with non-return valves. The bilge pump is also used as deckwash pump and there is also a handpump connected tot he collector. This handpumpcan be operated from the deck in cases of distress.
